I'll update when I find it, get it charged back up and test things out.
I just remembered I have an old notebook around somewhere that I can test the monitor itself on to make sure it's not one of the adapters or cables. I've been scouring forums, and found people having similar issues as far back as 2009, and as recently as 2011 (when I'm guessing a newer model of monitor came out to replace the B2030), but haven't found any real work-arounds past trying different resolutions. the monitor is detected, and shows up as if it's there via screen sharing, but again, no video output on the monitor. I have also tested this setup on my MacBook with the same results ie. The desktop itself is viewable via screen sharing, so I know there's picture being sent out, and am guessing there's some obscure driver I need to get past this step. When I do this, the display is detected by my Mac, but the screen just tries to find signal with no results.
I was originally going to purchase a DVI cable, but the port on the monitor doesn't have part of the socket my cable does, so I'm using a VGA -> DVI adapter then into a DVI -> MiniDisplay adapter. Samsung SyncMaster B2030 drivers were collected from official websites of manufacturers and other trusted sources. Among the Samsung SyncMaster 510TFT features is a picture in picture mode that makes the image display unique. I recently purchased a Mac Mini (late 2014) and am having issues getting picture to display on my Samsung SyncMaster B2030.
